Focus
For students
Assignments, notes and deadlines in one place, and the time you actually spend on them. Connect Canvas and your calendars, and the work arrives on its own, dates attached.

Avlo
Software that gets out of your way.
We build slowly and on purpose. Every screen has to earn its place, every notification has to be worth the interruption, and both apps share one design down to the last hairline border.
The apps
Two apps. One way of doing things.
Nimbus
For everyone
An honest forecast, live radar, and severe alerts that reach you before the sky does. Air quality, a widget that keeps up, and rain alerts that know when to stop.

How they’re built
A few opinions, applied everywhere.
Solid, not glassy
Surfaces are opaque. Depth comes from a hairline border, a soft shadow and a single pixel of light along the top edge. The tab bar is the one piece of glass in each app.
One colour that means “tap”
Greys carry the layout and a single indigo carries every interaction. Other colours appear only when they mean something, like a severe warning or an urgent assignment.
Six real themes
Light, Paper, Dark, Dim and a true-black AMOLED, or follow the system. Each is its own palette, not one run through a filter, and they match across both apps.
Quiet by default
Notifications are opt-in and rationed. Rain alerts come once per shower and never more than three a day. A missed deadline waits until morning to tell you.
One account
Sign in once. Both apps know you.
Your Focus account signs you into Nimbus too. Saved places, units, notification settings and your theme follow you to every device. It’s optional: Nimbus works fully without it.
Waitlist
Be first in line.
Focus and Nimbus are in private testing. Leave your email and we will write once, when they reach the App Store. Nothing else, ever.
